Lymphatic pathologies and therapeutic strategies

The lymphatic system is a network of organs, lymph nodes, lymph ducts, and lymph vessels that make and move lymph from tissues to the bloodstream. The lymphatic system is a major part of the body's immune system.  

Lymphatic pathologies are a class of disorders which directly affect the components of the lymphatic system and they include Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Lymphadenitis, Lymphagnitis, Lymphedema and Lymphocytosis.  

The third global MOH event is exploring insights concerning lymphatic pathologies and their treatment.  

The web seminar starts with Dr. Ningfei Liu -Professor of Plastic Surgery, Director of Lymphology Center, Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine- discussing "Lymphatic Pathologies: Therapeutic strategies under consideration of regional aspects". Then Dr. Corrado Cesare Campisi - professor at the Victor Babeș University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timișoara in Timișoara, Romania and member of the European Society of Lymphology and the International Society of Lymphology- continues with "Lymphatic Surgery for Lymphedema Treatment - The Genoa-Italy Protocol". The web seminar ends with Susan Butcher speaking of "Compression Therapy with Compreflex Wraps of Sigvaris".
